Pink Ribbon Pendant



October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

When we founded our company in 2005 it was important to us to include supporting woman's issues as part of our company's community investment initiative. We strive to do this in the form of both profit allocation and dedicated issue focused products.

Our handmade glass Breast Cancer Ribbon is Sugar & Spice Glass Co.'s first issue focused product. At wholesale and when sold retail directly from our company we donate 100% of the profits to The Young Survival Coalition and The Susan G. Komen Foundation.

A "twist" on our handmade glass donut was the inspiration for this Breast Cancer Awareness Ribbon. Using the global symbol of unity and support with an unexpected addition of white and pink sprinkles, Lauren and I further interpret the classic ribbon for this cause with a playfulness we think you have come to expect from us.

Our Packaging

We know you've been wondering . . . . .
What does Sugar & Spice's sweet treats look like when they are packed hot from the oven and shipped to my home?
Our bakery items, donuts and cupcakes, are shipped in mini pastry boxes complete with red and white striped baker's twine. Candies, confections and home cookin products are wrapped to look like hard candy. So cute (if we do say so ourselves).
These packages are perfect to store our jewelry in when you not wearing them- but really, how often will you NOT be wearing one.

We Were Featured On Craft Revolution!

Victoria, a CR blog editor, posted a really nice piece about our Donuts DeLicious today.

CraftRevolution.com is "the ultimate guide to the new world of craft." This online magazine provides one of the largest listings of Indie Shops. In the interest of shoppers, CR staff has laid out strict guideline to provide internet shoppers with a directory of Indie Shops that are safe and adhere to a truth in advertising policy, oh and let not forget very crafty too. Face to the Names

We needed some pictures of the two of us for PR.

So we stopped by a local bar in brooklyn yesterday afternoon to do these "headshots".

There was lots of giggling and merri-making,

After a couple of beers and four sittings we got one we liked.

It was a very fun afternoon.
